I have been to retro twice and have found their donuts to be fresh and very tasty (at least from the ones I've tried). Our church group has done "FUNdraising" through them and it was definitely a unique and beneficial way to contribute to summer camp funds. They allowed the kids to participate by folding boxes, holding signs, opening doors, etc. It seemed fitting for the age of kids and the business was very welcoming. Love it
Great classic style donuts with the occasional modern twist! You won't find bacon or Skittles on donuts here, but they still have some interesting, more traditional selections, like blueberry fritters, triple chocolate old fashions, and donuts with savory fillings. The coffee is good as well. Hot coffee if brewed using a pour over to order, and iced coffees are served over coffee ice cubes, so no watered down coffee. I think you can get ice cream with the donuts after 11, but I haven't tried it yet.
The people are friendly, and enjoy the people that come in. Very enjoyable place to have a doughnut.
