Retoños has been such an integral part of our family. It has been the most loving environment and our kids have learned so much. Our oldest is transitioning to Spanish Immersion Kindergarten and is bilingual. Karen is an amazing leader who has built an incredible program, community, and environment for young children to thrive!
All our kids have been attending and it has been marvelous. The program has a perfect balance of structure and play throughout the day but anchored within a long term personalized goal for each kid. Caretakers are so loving and the food (which is delicious and well balanced) is prepped on site. It’s a little hidden gem
The best daycare program we could have found for our children, so much so that even though we moved further down the coast, we’re still taking our kids to Retoños. Retoños is an outstanding preschool (18 mos -> Kinder) for those seeking Spanish immersion for their little ones. The school seems split relatively evenly among native speakers and those learning Spanish as a second language. Both groups excel greatly at Retoños. My wife and I speak Spanish but we were raised here, and it's important to us that our daughter also speaks Spanish.
