I was talked out of carrying my insurance on my disabled son, since he would qualify for medicaid insurance. "Why pay for something when he can get it for free?" Well, do your homework as his medical supplies and meds are not covered nearly as well as my policy I had been carrying on him. Even knowing I could not go back add him, they convinced me to drop my coverage.....forever. My humble opinion is that they are more concerned with their share of a premium than the patient.
