My husband had an appointment in the Dallas office on 9/19 His appointment was at 1240. We arrived at 1217 and did not leave until 230pm. We waited 2 hrs for him to be seen. This is an issue all the time but not usually this long. This to me is unacceptable as I work in the health care field. I understand emergencies happen but it appears he over scheduled. My ophthalmologist referred me to Dr. Marcus Allen in May of 2019, at the Unicorn Lake Denton, TX location because of a macular hole. After going through a macular hole surgery the very next morning, I came home from the procedure with a severe eye infection that left me completely blind in my right eye. It took me two weeks to get over the horrible infection and I underwent 3 more surgeries throughout the following 4 months. I have been a patient of Dr. Kozielec's for several years now. Dr. Kozielec and the staff at Retina Institue of Texas are wonderful. They treat each person with care and respect.
I usually don't do reviews, but the way I was just handled by the Office Manager of this place indicates a high level of racial bias coupled with extreme arrogance.
