I had an appointment with the ophthalmologist on 3/3/25, and the entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE from start to finish. First, it was nearly impossible to even make the appointment—I was on hold for close to 4 hours just to get scheduled. When I finally arrived at the office, the receptionist claimed they hadn’t received the authorization from my PCP—even though that form was required for me to even book the appointment in the first place. Scheduling is not accountable for mistakes. And cost people lost of work and denial of it is mind blowing. . I have text and hand written card of the appointment.Distrustful .
Be sure to bring a bed or a camping chair if you have an appointment at Acuity Eye Group—you’re going to be here a while. In fact, don’t make any other plans for the day; expect to spend most of it waiting. It’s unfortunate because they have excellent doctors, like Dr. Weisman, but the scheduling and organization definitely need improvement.
Worst experience for eye care ever. Facility is COLD, staff is Cold, Dr. Chang has no manners.(1) saw Dr. Ward on second visit scared the hell out of me with his diagnoses. (2) The optical dept couldn’t help with a prescription (3) Referred for lab work (4). 1. Referred me to another Dr. in Long Beach - no transportation. 2.
