Crazy wait times. It’s been over an hour and a half and my husband is still waiting to see the doctor.
Huge improvement with Acuity Eye Group Arcadia after the last visit. Appointment was at 10:20 AM and they stayed right on schedule. The staff were courteous, respectful, and far more organized this time. Tests were performed by two different nurses, both of whom were professional and courteous . Overall, a much smoother and more positive experience. Dr. Reid Wainess is still the best—thorough, patient, and consistently excellent with care.
This is my second time visiting this facility for a family member’s surgery, and both times the receptionist, Carmen, has been extremely rude and unprofessional. On my most recent visit, she was openly cussing in the waiting area and loudly arguing with a caller. At one point, she put the caller on hold for an extended period simply because they weren’t sure of the patient’s date of birth. I have gone to this location since it opened up until a week ago (time of this review) This location is always overbooked and messing up appointments. At my most recent appointment, I showed up a half hour early and signed in. Two hours later I asked how much longer it would be, because 90% of the people who showed up after me had already been seen. She told me, "Your appointment was at 8:40 AM and have have you as a no-show. I told her my appointment was for 10:30 and I signed in at 10:00 AM. She was the person who original... read more
I had an appointment with the ophthalmologist on 3/3/25, and the entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE from start to finish. First, it was nearly impossible to even make the appointment—I was on hold for close to 4 hours just to get scheduled. When I finally arrived at the office, the receptionist claimed they hadn’t received the authorization from my PCP—even though that form was required for me to even book the appointment in the first place.
