My husband and I both see Dr. Spinak. We both feel he is thorough and very competent in the care of the retina. He is always upbeat and friendly whenever we visit. We are fortunate to have him taking care of our retina issues.
I have AMD and my regular retinal doctor is out on maternity leave. I go once a month for an injection in my eye. There are numbing solutions and methods you have to go through before the shot. After several of these that caused me to have a lot of pain afterwards, we settled on a protocol that was great and after the shot I had no pain and very little discomfort. Enter, Dr. Spinek. Met Dr. Spinak on an emergency situation after a cataract complication. His staff demonstrated great listening skills, was efficient, and he put me at ease. Addressed all of my questions and felt well about the decisions being made.
