Fantastic care is all I've received from Dr. Rankin and staff! Highly recommend them to anyone needing retina care.
I was there for two different visits for laser eye surgery. The staff was friendly. My first visit took longer than I expected, I was there for several hours. The second visit was not as long. The doctor asked me how the prior procedure was for me. I responded by explaining that it was a bit painful and he went on to say that he could put a two-year-old to sleep and that I was a grown woman. I felt like he downplayed the fact that I felt that the procedure was painful and I thought it was very insulting.
The only reason I'm giving even 1 star is because you have to for the "Post" (your review) button to activate. ATTENTION: KNOW AHEAD OF TIME THAT THIS IS A SPECIALIST -- YOU WILL BE CHARGED A SMALL FORTUNE FOR THE MOST SIMPLE OF VISITS. I waited 1.5 hours to spend 5 minutes with the doctor and am $415 lighter as a result. I am so upset that I wasted my time visiting this place today after being referred by my regular ophthalmologist.
