If I could give this company less than one star, I would. This company should not be allowed to manage properties. In my experience, Anson is dishonest and manipulative, often twisting situations to try to keep your money. If you do have to rent from this company, make sure every single agreement is in writing. Do not rely on verbal promises — they are rarely followed through on. The property I rented was poorly maintained. Common areas such as hallways were never swept, mopped, or cleaned. Retain is the worst retail company I have ever dealt with, no communication whatsoever on anything, they have very high rates monthly as well for what you get. One of the property managers Anson is a very difficult person to deal with, and very ignorant over the phone as well.
Terrible company, little to no correspondence, I have paid my rent on time for the entirety of my lease. I was 20$ short on the last month of my lease. I explained that I had some bills that needed to be paid and was really hoping they would give me a few extra days to pay the remaining 20$ balance considering the outrageous amount of money they've already gotten from me.
