I was happy the plumber took the time to explain that the leak was from a faulty seal and had it repaired within an hour, especially because I had previous experience with another contractor who failed to communicate. He also gave advice on how to avoid similar problems in the future which helped me feel more confident maintaining out plumbing system.
Basically it was a flange that was misaligned and they saw it and changed it in a couple hours, but the old toilet sitting by the curb was a bit of a downer.
Didn’t take an hour to fix the leak.
I figured an hour was not unreasonable to fix a stuck motor, which had to be replaced. Once he got it fixed he ran a number of cycles to make sure all was humming along fine.
