He is a terrible spine doctor . he would not help me with my back. he told me he wouldn't the surgery because it's not necessary but I'm in so much pain. my leg is numb, and I failed all the test he did. The pain is so bad. it's hard to work like this I wouldn't even give him a one star. he didn't tell what to do next he basically said I'm going to have to live with the pain. I drove and hour to get there took off from work.

Had shots in both shoulders . Hurt like hell!...Nicholson was terrible....would not recommend ! Still hurts after several months.....!

My Open Reduction and Internal Fixation surgery was botched. As a standard practice Resurgens trains and provides experimental training opportunities to their lower level practitioner's using patient procedures. A patients age is a factor in determining the extent of the involvement relegated to subordinate practitioners. Demographically the older the patient the less likely for malpractice accountability while the patients risk for serious negative outcomes is significantly higher. I know this “doctor” is deceased. And I’ve held my tongue going on oh.. close to 20 years now.. but I want anyone who goes to look for him to remember him kindly to know that this man treated me as less than human. He treated me like a science project and when this “project” didn’t turn out like he planned he broke the Hippocratic oath and intentionally caused me harm like a spoiled little child. I was crawling on the floor and throwing up, trying to fill in my paperwork in this "doctor's" office. (But she STILL didn't send me to the hospital!!) I could not stand up for the xray. I had an ENORMOUS extrusion (that "Dr" Willet missed). I requested an immediate MRI, and instead...she tagged me as "drug seeking " and sent me home with a steroid pack and scheduled an MRI for half a month later. This place is a racket. These quacks couldn't care less about anything but their golf games. They'll keep you in the waiting room for hours, charge the hell out of you, then spend just a few minutes with you―ignoring you the entire time. Paul R. Jeffords is the worst of all. That arrogant asshole couldn't diagnose a broken leg. Only an idiot would let any of these Resurgens butchers cut him/her up. Exceptional Foot and Ankle Care Marissa M Akin, PA ( foot and ankle) at the Resurgens Emory Peachtree Dunwoody location. I tripped on a sidewalk that was not even, when I was walking downtown after a funeral. I went down hard and scraped one knee, leg and broke my foot on the side. Called on a Wednesday and came in on Thursday morning. I called back Thursday morning before my appointment....because I was running late for my 1st visit. I could NOT miss this appointment...the PAIN in my hip was relentless. The person answered the phone was pleasant and patient. She explained my options but shared my issue with the physician. I've been going to Resurgens for a few years now. I had Fusion back surgery on August 23rd. Dr. Jason Velez is my doctor. He is Awesome,easy to talk to, very caring, friendly. I always enjoy my visits. If you have back problems, I recommend you go see him. And, the staff is great too!
