I had an amazing experience with Restoring Function. Jake, one of the PTs came out to complete my initial paperwork and came back to complete my discharge paperwork. His communication was spot on and his demeanor was lovely, very kind! Bonnie, one of the PTAs worked with me for about 3 weeks, twice a week and was amazing! The main issue with company is COMMUNICATION. Either a lack of it, or lying. Nobody told me that when my mom was released from home nurse visits, that home health aide was also cancelled. We were expecting her today, but they failed to tell me she wasnt coming. The other problem is one of the nurses. She took it upon herself to rearrange all my moms meds, not tell me, and leave a handful of unknown pills in a basket!! My mom has home health through Restoring Function in Fort Worth. Their care and attention to detail is amazing. Emily, LeighAnn, Tereasa, John, Elaine, Ben, and Sky, all treat my mom as if she is their own mother. I love you guys and believe your care has added to my mom’s peace of mind and quality of life.
This company was not responsive. I had to make repeated calls to get movement. After my mom returned from rehab, it took 5 days to get the nurse out and 10 days for PT to finally evaluate my mother. They never sent OT. Sandy, our nurse, was great. Everything else was sub par. We lost valuable recovery time. Our new home health company is so much better.
