I was referred to Derek by a friend to help treat a 6 month old running injury which locked up my hips and back. I tried acupuncture, yoga, massage, Pilates and lots of stretching but didn’t have any luck. There was a 2 month wait to get the first appointment but it was absolutely worth the wait. I work in healthcare and just have to submit a warning. I am 8 months pregnant and called to schedule a massage therapist; the receptionist indicated that there was an appointment available for Saturday, for which I was grateful. She wanted to schedule me another two weeks out (before giving me a chance to discuss price or insurance) and kept pushing; eventually I said, rather jokingly "Well I have to see if you guys are any good". I came to RestorePT after seeing a Chiropractor, and Traditional PT. I gave that months of therapy for my frozen shoulder but to no avail.. I was in intense pain and had to even resort to sleeping in a Lazy Boy chair to get some relief from my shoulder.
