STAY AWAY if you're looking to use your INSURANCE. Final price was 3x higher from what was originally quoted. Might as well let your insurance company hire their own contractor. Its less hassle dealing with insurance and the contrator.
Do not go with Restoration Canada. We had a flood in our house and they removed much more dry wall then needed. Threw out our kitchen light without our permission. Their quote was more than double other local companies without proof of where the money was going. We mentioned these issues - the company refused to answer our calls or explain why the quote was so high. Poor customer service...
Initial service for emergency remediation was handled well. Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated significantly once it came time to discuss restoration. The company insisted that my insurance provider pay them directly and informed me that they had contacted my insurer to attempt this. When my insurer refused and instead issued the settlement directly to me (standard practice in this case), I was pressured by Restoration Canada to redirect the full insurance payment to them. OMG- these guys are amazing. They came within 45 minutes of my call, remediated my whole issue, sought the advice of an external company on my heat pump, helped me navigate my insurance claim. Could not recommend more highly.
