My family and I have always had wonderful service all around with Reston Station Dental and Pal Dentistry. We usually see the terrific Dr. Pernia, but all the doctors, technician-hygienists, and staff have always been great to interact with. They have also always been clear about recommendations, services, and pricing. All around great experience.
Dr. Pernia is so professional. She is kind and really great at what she does. She always explains things thoroughly and makes sure you know what her next steps are. Her staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful. If you're looking for a great dentist, this is the place to come.
BEWARE. These people will tell you that you're covered for services when you aren't. Story below. Jan 1 2025, new dental plan through my employer that covered my husband and I. Husband goes for a standard checkup - dental cleaning, xrays etc. Nothing exotic - just an annual check. He presented his new insurance that morning and the person who checks insurance told him "you have great insurance". Who knew going to the dentist could be a pleasant experience? Dr. Pernia and the entire staff know their stuff and have high emotional intelligence. So grateful to have found them!
Truly they make the dental experience a pleasure! And that says a lot cause root canals and cavities and the like are not on my list of favorite things to do!! They are a very special staff!!
