Came here with my wife for our 7th anniversary. It was nothing short of outstanding. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. Loved the wine pairings too. Absolutely one of the best meals I’ve had in New York and totally worthy of all the hype. We will be back.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Yuu twice now. Both menus were impressively creative, delicious and visually spectacular. Chef Yuu is not only incredibly talented but very kind and passionate as well. No small detail is missed at this gem of a tasting menu and I would not hesitate to recommend it to any lover of food!
不是传统意义上的“日料”，而是很有辨识度的 Japanese × French tasting menu 主厨 Yuu Shimano 是日本人，曾在巴黎 Guy Savoy 等顶级法餐厨房工作。他把法国料理的酱汁、肉类处理、pastry 技术，结合日本对于食材、季节和细节的理解。 所以你吃到的不是简单的“法餐融合日料”，而是： 看起来是法国菜，吃起来却有明显的日本审美。 比如和牛、海胆、鱼、蟹等日本高级食材，会被放进非常经典的法餐结构里 Yuu 开餐时会关灯、拉开蓝色幕帘，整个厨房团队穿着统一的白色厨师服站成一排，随后主厨 Yuu Shimano 出场，整个团队开始正式工作。 整个过程非常像： 剧院开幕 → Chef’s Counter → 厨师现场表演 → tasting menu Time Out 也直接把它称为一种 “dinner and a show” 的体验。
