I was on my own spending some much needed 'me' time and I wanted to treat myself to special lunch tasting menu. The presentation of the dishes was impeccable, and the cooking was precise, balanced, and refined. I would encourage to go a bit more daring with boldness of flavours to just elevate to next level. We travelled up from Devon as a party of four to experience the talent that is Folium. From our arrival, slightly late due to taxis, the welcome was warm and gracious. The food, just kept coming with excellent delivery and explanation. It truly was an amazing experience. We did the tasting menu and they even catered for one of our party who is a pescatarian. The whole experience lasted around 3hrs, but the time flew. Very very nice. Carl x
Exceptional dining experience for a birthday celebration. The service was wonderful and attentive and the food had such amazing textures and flavours. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to my next visit!
We had the lunch and wine pairing menu (part of the Birmingham Food Festival deal, which was great) and it was fantastic. Absolutely delicious and with flavours i’d never tried before. The service was amazing and the vibe was very relaxed, which was lovely. Thoroughly recommend a trip, thanks so much for having us!
We had read a lot of good reviews about this place and am happy to say it easily lived up to its great reputation. We went for the long tasting menu and wine flight. The food was really superb - surprising flavours and textures, all very well presented as you can see. Service was excellent creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We will be revisiting!
