Great bar service and Lucky pours an amazing Guinness.
The in-room information States that the bar restaurant is closed - it hasn't been updated since COVID. Very limited menu and the food is basic. The hotel is shabby and not well maintained. Breakfast was unappealing so I skipped it. I stayed 2 nights - the place is run by teenagers who don't know what they are doing. My room wasn't made up even though I left the Please Make Up My Room tag on the door. If you just want a place to crash then it's okay. I expected more.
Booked here for my mother's end of life celebrations..everything was perfect ..Big thank you to Paul and also paneer the barman and Tom on reception also Meg for setting up beautifully and Miles for looking after us late into the night..Absolutely wonderful place to hold an event..The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was good...couldn't fault it at all Absolutely lovely Thank you all for helping to make some wonderful memories. Xx
Thank you to Paul for arranging every detail to perfection and making a small celebration a wonderful evening. The plough exceeded my expectations and the whole team were attentive and hospitable all evening. Meg made sure everything was perfect and Colin the dj made it a fabulous party. .
