Second time at Rest Ashoar, the cottages are still very nice, very clean, the hosts are very responsive. Prospect Harbour is a quiet little place not very far for acadia national park. Will be back for sure.

My sister and I truly enjoyed our stay in the Seashell Cottage. The location was prefect to visit Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Also being close to Schoodic Peninsula section of Acadia NP made for a nice drive. The cottage was just what we were looking for a leisurely visit to the area. The views from both the main floor and the upstairs bedroom were amazing. We would definitely recommend staying with Rest Ashoar Cabins.

We loved this rental! It was very clean, very welcoming, super kid friendly, in a beautiful location with amazing views. It has a washer, dryer, full kitchen, tvs, wifi, parking, heat, air conditioning and access to beach treasures at low tide. Visiting Acadia National Park is about an hour drive to Mount Desert Island, but only 20 minutes from the Schoodic area of Acadia. Check out the sunset at Schoodic Point!

Sandcastle cottage at Rest Ashoar Cottages was perfect for us! It was stocked with just about everything we needed for an easy stay. We didn’t use the full kitchen much but it was a nice option. Washer and dryer were handy and we hardly brought home any dirty laundry 5 star view! Collected sea glass practically right outside the door. Ashley was quick to help when needed and checked in to see if everything was comfortable during our week long stay. Temperatures dipped to low single digits and we were perfectly warm.
