I have experienced and can confirm what others are saying on here. I worked for two days for this company a lifetime ago in 2011 before i realized this company is shady. I had to go back and forth with Darren multiple times to get him to pay me anything at all for the work I did, and what he gave me was not what was agreed upon because what "his records" stated didn't line up with what I said I had worked. So I am not surprised to see all the negative reviews relating to exactly what i experienced.
Whether you partied to much, the car broke down or needed to go to Montreal, etc. Or just drop your car off at another location, need to get your kids to school or activities. Responsible Choice has many drivers to meet your needs. I love this company!
I'm thankful I trusted my instincts before committing to this company for my daughter's school transport. Too many red flags to list but 1) Darren (owner/driver) doesn't have a criminal record check he can provide; 2) he doesn't have a contract to prepare for you/doesn't want to give you one; 3) cannot provide proof of insurance; 4) he only wants payment via Interac e-tsf which means payment via checking account and not your credit card so there is no way to make a chargeback... as other reviewers have commented, you need to... read more
I would avoid this company. I was looking for transportation for a special needs child. I was asked to prepay a large amount. I asked for proof of insurance and a police check, which they would not provide. After one ride, was told they could not offer the service. I almost gave up on getting my money back for the prepaid service after weeks of calls, emails and texts. Overall, I would say they are unprofessional and difficult to communicate with.
