Lane Clegg from Residential Warranty Services was extremely helpful. He not only looked for my information when I didn't know where to look , he explained in detail. He understood how frustrated I was with the middle man. If it wasn't for Lane I don't think this process would have been solved...

Horrible communication. I had to call them repeatedly....until it was time for them to up sell... then they called me. They play semantics with the contract language. Of course the failure of one part of the hvac system can and will damage another part when it fails. They take it to the extreme that “they won’t cover damage incurred by failures covered parts parts.” For example... it a toilet fails... they will fix the toilet but not the ceiling underneath. I have a home warranty through them. First time I ever needed them was over this past Labor Day weekend. I contacted them and filed a claim. They asked for my property inspection report, which I gave them. My problem? Air conditioner went out. Unfortunately, can't plan this. In my area, we were in triple digits and a heat wave advisory. Nothing from the company. No time frame, no information on who they called, nothing. Today is Tuesday and still haven't heard from them. I contacted them again. I had a claim with RWS in December of 2018 for what I thought was a clog in my basement bathroom. RWS sent out a plumbing contractor and they told me that my ejector pump was not working. I had to pay $415 for the replacement. But, I had further problems I discovered minutes after they left. The sewage was backing up from my floor drain next to the holding tank. Hard working people here. I was contacted after my issue by the General Manager Lane and he helped me tremendously. He listened and listened and listened some more then when I thought I had scared him off he simply laid everything out and gave me a resolution. I was shocked at how easy he is to talk to, how knowledgeable he is and he even helped me with a non warranty related issue. Thank you Lane !!! For everyone else out there, call Lane 3177034437 he will really help if he can!!!
