Just took a group of students to Independent Bank and had an amazing field trip experience! Hannah, the branch manager for Saranac MI, prepared an interactive lesson with our students—complete with a money-related game. She passed around actual shredded money from the Federal Reserve too! Hannah was gentle and patient with questions from a variety of age groups (we’re a homeschooling group and don’t separate into grade levels for most field trips), and all of the tellers were very understanding as well.
