My dog has diarrhea from something she ate underneath the couch in the room. They could definitely do a better job cleaning. The atmosphere is great but the rooms need to be cleaner.

Long term stay. During the first couple of months, had to change rooms twice due to water leaking through the ceiling in the bathroom - twice. Julie offered no apology no explanation in both incidents. End of April had to return home due to mother's illness during which time the reservation changed from 1 bed to studio. Julie was unsympathetic to my absence and charged me rack rate for 3 days as I could not check out. I rushed back just to check out and check back in to a different room. Excellent stay + amazing service from Isaiah! Had a wonderful stay at Residence Inn Rapid City. The room was clean, spacious, and luxurious, and the location is perfect for travelers. Huge shoutout to Isaiah at the front desk. He was fast, efficient, and incredibly helpful. I asked about EV charging and he gave me clear, detailed info without skipping a beat. His professionalism and kindness truly made my experience stand out. Highly recommend this hotel and if Isaiah checks you in, you’re in great hands!
