Worst hotel exp in my life. -Inadquate sound proof -no hot water -room keys don't work -fire false alarm goes off middle of night -gym equipment old and rusty

I’m not one to leave reviews often, even when I don’t have a good experience somewhere but ever since I checked into this hotel it’s been nothing BUT issues. First, the exit/entry door closet to our room wasn’t shoveled properly/really at all which is a huge safety hazard; not only that but I couldn’t bring any items into that door. I stayed here at the Residence Inn for a wedding, and like always, when I travel, I choose Marriott and this stay reminded me exactly why! From the moment I checked in, Justin made everything smooth, welcoming, and top-notch. I also have to give a huge shout-out to Cathy, who truly embodies the Marriott brand. Disappointed with this stay. The room had a strong urine/pee smell, especially near the bathroom, and the toilet would not flush properly, which is a basic expectation for any hotel. For a Residence Inn under the Marriott brand, this level of cleanliness and maintenance is unacceptable. The photos show visible wear and poor upkeep in areas that should be clean and functional.
