The Residence Inn in Eagan, MN ended up being one of those hidden gems that you don’t expect to leave such a lasting impression—but it absolutely did. Great hotel to stay at. Breakfast is wonderful, the rooms are clean & very convenient! Wonderful lighting. My fiancé and I just wish there were 'Adults Only' hours for swimming, even just 10pm-midnight. Very off-putting with screaming kids and scattered teens keeping us in the corners avoiding accidently swimming into them. 🤷♂️
I've stayed at this property a number of times, and it never fails to disappoint. The outdoor amenities are lovely. You can play basketball or grill out. Breakfast is always more than satisfactory, and the market has anything you could need in a pinch. Our room was clean, and I received a note from the team acknowledging my Marriott status. You want to stay here!
Clean, excellent staff. Breakfast was wonderful! My only complaint is the pull out sofa, it is horrible. I felt every bar, every groove etc. So my only suggestion is maybe not plan for the sleeper sofa as a bed. Next time we would get 2 beds instead of the sleeper sofa. I would not even suggest putting kids on it, it was that bad. Will definitely be back!
After COVID, I stopped booking hotels for family vacations, but my recent business stay at Courtyard Marriott changed my outlook. Choosing the Residence Inn for our time in the Minneapolis area was definitely the right decision. The rooms were spacious enough for a family of three, and the service was exceptional, even for someone like me who tends to complain unnecessarily. The staff exceeded my expectations.
