On June 17, 2024, I encountered significant difficulties with the guest customer service representative, Anetra. Her demeanor was rude and condescending, which exacerbated my concerns regarding the condition of the room I had checked into at 8:00 PM. Upon entering, I discovered multiple cleanliness issues that indicated the room was not properly prepared for my stay. Pros: Front Desk staff (Winston) was kind and helpful. Nothing should be negatively reflected on him, he did what he could to make the stay tolerable. Cons: Everything else. We booked 2 rooms. If we had payed half the rate, this is the room I would have expected. But paying what we did, and it having the Marriot name, I expected so much more. The rooms were grimy. Not our usual pleasant stay at a Marriott property! Upon entering lobby for check-in Friday evening, we were met with an overwhelming odor of Marijuana. Got key cards and arrived at assigned room to find door wide open, damage throughout room, and soiled bedding in 2nd bedroom. Tried to call desk and found phone cord missing, so locked luggage in room and went back to desk. Clerk apologized and gave us a different room in another building on an upper floor (no elevator).
