Good Staff, Bad Upkeep — Wouldn’t Stay Again Length of stay: July 31 – August 15 Great location near grocery stores (HEB, Walmart, Kroger, Market Street, Target) with a new Costco that opened 8/15, plus lots of shopping, restaurants, bars, entertainment (including a movie theater), and activities for all ages in a residential neighborhood with many apartments. Awesome suites.
If the Residence Inn Fairview is new as claimed on the website, it isn't well maintained. There are tiles broken in each of the elevators, the treads on the stairs are pulling off or apart, one of the lamps in our room was missing, there was a gouge in the shower pan, the paint on the ceiling of the shower was beginning to peel, there were gouges on the wall of the bathroom.
