The good: This hotel is in a excellent location- Downtown, close to the beach and plenty of good restaurants. The lobby bar has excellent service and is a great place to visit in the evenings. Rooms are nice and big. Beds are nice! The not great: This hotel is not as clean or maintained as well as other Marriots. I know in the future they have big plans for some renovations and repairs. I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Marriott and the lack of communication and customer service I received. I was charged over $500 for a reservation scheduled for March 20–22, 2026, despite never checking in or utilizing the room. I was under the impression that the reservation had been canceled. However, I did not receive any communication—no call, email, or confirmation—from the hotel prior to or during the reservation dates to verify my arrival.
