Was very disappointed with this hotel. I expected to be a higher end hotel but was disappointed. The rooms had defects and linen were dirty. Drawers would not close and the windows on outside were dirty hence couldn't take good pictures of bay. It has a late check in at 5pm....then they didn't have room ready so had to wait till 8pm for check in. Not very inviting. Too expensive for the subpar experience....would not recommend this hotel

Great location, just across the road from the bay. We had a bayview, 1 bedroom for two nights. Unfortunately, this place does not meet Marriot standards and I stay at a lot of Marriot properties because of their consistent quality. The room and hallways smell heavily of cigarette smoke. Light by the closet doesn't work. Also, the carpet in the living room is frayed where it joins the kitchen tile. Hotel is in great location, rooms are clean and spacious. Major drawback is they charged us $15 parking fee with no place to park...had to park on street in back of building by dumpster. Try some place else. Room we wanted was not ready at 1530 so we settled for less because we were short on time. Try Omni great restaurant with plenty of garage parking.

I walk in to begin my stay, the lady at the front desk was not the friendliest. But ok. I then go to my room, it was nice and big. I proceed to the bathroom, there were footprints on the tile, the shower door was dirty and the sides around toward the ground of the shower were dirty. All in all I feel for the price I paid the room, especially the bathroom, should be clean!!

Nice hotel and location. However, bookers should beware that they do not prioritize customer service and Marriott should be weary of the hotel manager's short sided business sense. I frequent the Corpus Christi area 4-5 times/year for business and average around 10 nights annually. I was pleased to find this hotel last October due to its location and relative new look.
