The lady who makes breakfast 4-4-25 Thursday was a very moody and unfriendly person. We seriously wouldn't visit there again simply based on her negative attitude.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well kept. The front desk was friendly, helpful, and professional. Would come again!
This hotel is under construction for remodeling. There are construction smells -paint,caulk etc. Furniture in the hallways. The room they gave me was not fully equipped. The kitchen counter had only 2 stools even though I had a 2 bedroom suite that would sleep 6. Front desk man could not have cared less. He said we only get 2 stools. I had stayed in 2 Residence inn hotels the week before. They both had 4 stools. The front desk was unmanned 90% of the time. Safety issue. The fireplace fills room with gas smell. I absolutely loved our stay here. I only stay in Marriott's and prefer Residence Inn. This is the best one I have stayed at because of the friendly associates, cleanliness and overall vibe. My regards to the associates Scott, Jennifer and Shavon. You are a great team and I enjoyed speaking with each of you. Your location has a chemistry that few places have. Miss y'all! Clean, well-appointed rooms. Desk associates were courteous and helpful. Usually stay at the Mt Pleasant R.I. when in the Charleston area. The $150 pet fee is ridiculous... unless your stay is for a week or more. Otherwise, it's better to board at one of the nearby kennels
