I had a good stay here overall. The hotel is actually a converted college hostel, and the location was perfect for me since it is right behind the college where I had my exam. The room was clean and the central air conditioning worked very well , which was great during the hot weather. The price is also very affordable . The mattress was average, and the microwave and fridge looked a bit old. The only major downside was the water pressure , which was extremely low and made showering difficult. Since I was driving from Mississauga to Lake Superior Provincial Park for camping, I stopped for one night along the way to rest. I chose this campus dormitory. The bedding in the room was really neat and tidy. They even provided all-white bath towels, body wash, and shampoo. The room also had a small kitchen and a microwave. There was a large fridge too — perfect for me to store and keep all my camping food cold. The surroundings were very quiet. Very lovely stay, lovely staff. Very quiet, comfortable, clean and safe. Shall stay here again when visiting in Sudbury.

Would leave 0 stars if there was an option We had a two-night reservation at the Sudbury Conference Center West and ended up leaving within an hour of checking in. I’ve stayed in budget motels before, but this was on another level. The room immediately reminded me of a prison cell—cinderblock walls, harsh fluorescent lighting, and a tiny window that let in almost no natural light. The whole space felt cold and institutional.
