I just want yall to be aware of the issues we endured with our stay. The house keeper that was there Friday evening said there was no ice onsite, as I was told there would be. The so called gift shop is a laundry room in total disarray and reeked of Mold. #8 Tipi The fan did not work. The floor had not been swept. The dishes were dusty and some were dirty. several big brown spiders. The hot plate did not get hot enough to cook eggs. The #8 bathroom locked on Sunday at 8 am. Check out is not until 11am. Over priced Mold smelling inside #6 No microwave only toaster oven, dirty and old. Walk a good distance to get in the river which is not enter friendly No shuttle to bring you back. When you pay $225 a night you expect a little amenities. The bathrooms are disattached but we're very nice and clean. But I will not go back. Housekeeping should not have missed the trash
Not going there again. Tikis are good. We got only 2 beds in a tipi, where it was promised for 3 beds.Don't worth it for kayaking and river access in not at all good.We had very bad experience with one of the owners on the river side houses. Will not recommend this place.
We had a great time. We had everything we needed to make do with cooking, etc. (Maybe a can opener. I think that was the only utensil I'd recommend adding) I think it was an excellent affordable choice to accommodate 6 people in one unit. And the location is great bc you can choose to go to New Braunfels or Canyon Lake easily either way. The bathrooms were nice.
