I can't say enough about how awesome this place, the volunteers, and the people who work here are. Truly God loving people who live to & love serving others. So GRATEFUL! They give you or point you in the right direction with all the resources you need and give you the opportunities upon opportunities... All you have to do is put in the work to do it.
Volunteering to help feed the homeless brings more joy and satisfaction than watching TV. Try It!!
The staff make the rules by the day there is no planned handbook even though you were told wer's were guaranteed a bed that's where you work and you come in late you don't always get a bed you can work a 8 hour to a 13-hour shift your reliable to get a chair more than a bed and if you do not go to chapel you do not get a bed and for the chapel thing it doesn't matter if it's a hundred degrees or -6 rain shine sleep snow you are expected to be there and on top of that you go outside to try to get more comfortable because the ... read more
