I've reached out about their fee's that come up and its always some excuse or a new fee, they may seem cheaper but they'll make it up in random crap fee's they throw on hoping you don't notice. Watch your bill for "Fuel fee's" or "Container Refresh" or "administrative fees". These guys are snakes and shouldn't be trusted. I guess being sued over this didn't fix their business practices.
Use them for residential and commercial. They have been super helpful.
This is the worst company in Utah for garbage pickup, they constantly try to charge more than the contract rate, have very slow customer service, they've created loopholes in the contracts to rope you into more services than originally agreed on, and there management seems to have no contact with the employees. I would chose any other services company in Utah, Republic Services is the worst of them all.
I was with republic for many years with multiple locations. They kept raising their prices until it got to the point where I was paying about $170 for each dump of a 6 yard dumpster. I switched to another company that is charging 1/3 of that price. They also constantly wouldn't dump my container but claim they did and bill me for it. I cancelled service and had them remove their dumpsters and now I get over a 1k bill from these guys. Do not ever do business with these guys. They are extremely dishonest.
Very dishonest company. Charged me a lot when i cancelled service even though I was under no contract. Go with someone else. Other companies charge 1/3 of what they charge
