Just so everyone knows, most of the "Positive Reviews" are from current employees' or their families that get free service. Which mind you is A LOT due to the fact they are friends with the Owners or current employees'. Not only that, the Customer service is HORRIBLE!! This company does not care about their customers! Troje's uses unethical business practices to sell you a service and then doubles your bill. (Check their BBB rating of 'F'....BBB dropped them.) After the first year they increase their fees, and pile on charges.... $45 'recycling surcharge" and Gas Surcharges are regular fees. Your initial fair deal quickly becomes the most expensive trash service in town. Plus, their recycling pickup is unreliable and spotty at best. We are missed by pickup on a regular basis. Bait and switch tactics with lousy service....BEWARE.
Worst company ever. Numerous missed pick ups, rude customer service, was told (after two years) they won't empty my cans cause they have grass clippings in them and only household trash is allowed, no recycling. Are u kidding me? Isn't grass in a land fill better than plastic? Find a different company.
Republic Services is not Allied Waste. Republic Services do a great job of making sure they clean up what ever mess is around the cans, even if they did not make the mess. This review is for the Plano location, where safety is at the top of their list. Thanks guys for what you do.
On May 29th the driver who picked up my recycling drove off of the road and onto my lawn sinking his front wheel axle deep into my lawn. I called and spoke to one of the women in the office and she wrote the complaint down and forwarded me to some man promising that he would get someone to my place to fix my lawn. I had to leave a message. Rude, customer service. Moved on June 6th, was billed for the rest of the month, but the worst part was that they could not pick the container up until July! a month after cancellation.
Allied Waste has been worst service lately and I don't know why we have been unable to get our garbage picked up! It was only picked up once in March and now they have missed the next pick up date on April 11th.
