My business has been a loyal customer of this company for over 3 years, but my experience has been nothing but disappointing. In that time, my initial quote has nearly tripled. When I decided to cancel due to the cost, I followed their instructions, emailed my cancellation, and was told it was accepted. We recently ended our services with Republic due to the cost being almost 2x the local companies. We were also charged twice for the last quarter unexpectedly. We have been waiting over two weeks for them to collect our bin and refund the overpayment and have been able to reach a customer service person one single time. Exclusively bad experiences with every single aspect of dealing with this company. They often miss pickups for an entire side of the street for absolutely no reason, leave trash all up and down the street because they can't be bothered to dump the bins properly, and leave bins in the exact middle of the driveway, forcing people to stop in the road and move them before they can get back onto their own property.

Put a old recliner out to be picked up on Tuesday of this week was on the list for of course it wasn't this company then reported to city hall clerk that it had been picked up! I went to city hall this morning to show picture to city clerk that it had not been picked up ! Poor service !! And negative attitude!!

My 2 and 3 year old grandsons were walking to pre school in walcott iowa saw a republic trash truck the boys are enamored with big trucks so they emidiately stopped and watched and waved at the truck...employees got out and gave each of them a yellow hard had.....extremely classy act of kindness
