Republic is awful!! The price is insane for their fees!! I emailed to cancel and the person handling it quit and they’re trying to stick me with the contract! Now this new account manager Bry Lentz is trying to get me to pay her to break contract!!!!!!! Extortion!!!!!!! Helllo republic !!!!!!!! Not paying your account manager $250 cash to get out of a contract I shouldn’t be in!!!!

My business has been a loyal customer of this company for over 3 years, but my experience has been nothing but disappointing. In that time, my initial quote has nearly tripled. When I decided to cancel due to the cost, I followed their instructions, emailed my cancellation, and was told it was accepted. I was also told a sales rep would contact me to arrange trash can pickup—no one ever did, despite my follow-up calls. We recently ended our services with Republic due to the cost being almost 2x the local companies. We were also charged twice for the last quarter unexpectedly. We have been waiting over two weeks for them to collect our bin and refund the overpayment and have been able to reach a customer service person one single time. Exclusively bad experiences with every single aspect of dealing with this company. They often miss pickups for an entire side of the street for absolutely no reason, leave trash all up and down the street because they can't be bothered to dump the bins properly, and leave bins in the exact middle of the driveway, forcing people to stop in the road and move them before they can get back onto their own property.
