Avoid Republic Services — deceptive and unfair contract practices I was told by their sales rep that my account would be month-to-month, only to later find out I was locked into a multi-year contract with expensive “liquidated damages” if I try to cancel. Would give 0 stars if i could. This company skips trash weeks with no notice, overcharge you. Raise prices with little to no notice. 100/ month billed every 3 months. 10/10 dont recommend ***UPDATE*** After cancelling my service in february, and leaving this review in april. My can did not get picked up until months after the prorated date in february. This is for the Corsicana branch only. I have had service since October 2024. The first few months were the worst, I had to call them EVERY week or two to pick up my trash. Unfortunately I can't say the issues Republic has were ever resolved because we are back to week 2 of no trash pick up again. I called today and spoke to a Christy who said she would have them pick up trash today or tomorrow. For 140 bucks every 3 months for them to only pick up trash occasionally is terrible. Received my trash can, 1st week trash was picked up. Imade my 1st payment of almost $300.I'm now 3 weeks without the drivers stopping to empty my bin. Every missed pickup was reported, but I shouldn't have to remind anyone that the huge blue trash can needs attention.
