It seems like they can do anything correctly. It’s very annoying because we do have another choice for trash service.
A 3 yard container was supposed to be delivered yesterday per the contract I signed with Republic. It is midday and even with 4 calls this morning and told a call back would happen, nothing. I wonder how the money situation will fair even if I do end up getting the thing delivered.
Wow what a rip off. I ordered and paid for a 40 yard dumpster to be delivered on September 19 2025 paid in advance $905 called them 5 times on delivery day said it would be dropped by 6 PM Sat and waited 12 hours and never showed up. I paid the City of Chula Vista for a permit and had to pay all workers for min 4 hours I lost $1100 and the money paid to republic. Also lost a week's worth of work on this project. Republics website says they are open from 8Am to 12 PM on Saturdays which is also a lie.
A zero is not available. Terrible customer service. Their web page indicates one thing and when you follow the instructions there you find out that is not really applicable. I have had 5 calls, a trip to the office and about 2 days just to dispose of bags with yard waste. Personnel are rude and nobody helps you. Insane that a simple trash service cannot be resolved.
Didn’t pick up for two weeks due to an employee strike. Billed full amount anyway. Not sure how that’s legal.
