UPDATE: Funny Republic said reach out, the problem was I DID before making the review & they made it impossible to cancel my service. I even talked to a manager to let them know the circumstances, NOPE DIDN'T CARE...they have a policy and don't budge. EVEN BETTER they charged my credit card 3 minutes after the call after I had turned off auto-pay a week earlier!!! SO now I get to deal with that too! This company sucks.. I was paying $109 every 3 months for last 1 yr and half and I get my new bill and they upped prices too $135 this is absolute bull and I do not recommend anyone getting this company due to they jack prices up for. O reason and they don’t care SWITCH TO TRINITY GARBAGE THEY got a Facebook and also on google!!! $85 every 3 months and when you pay every 3 months first time customer you get a month free NO UP CHARGES nothing!! Save your self $$$ and don’t get republic!
Absolutely RIDICULOUSLY high prices. Almost $200 for trash service. They go up and up and up every single month. I wish I had different options because these people will rip you off!
I never missed a payment but they terminated the two year contract at around a year, bc they said it was unsafe to pick up my trash. They have been servicing this road for 5 years that I had lived here. Once they terminated the contract I’m expected to pay them for picking up their can. If I terminate I have to pay the whole contract out though, that’s ridiculous. Charging me 20 bucks after you decide you can’t complete the job.
The cost of the service constantly increases and they have cracked my can by slamming it down after pick up. I've sat on the phone for over an hour trying to speak to a customer service representative. The only way to cancel is by calling. But you can't get anyone on the phone when you do call. Stay away from Republic. There are local companies who will respond to inquiries and are happy to have your business.
