1/5 — Extremely Rude and Aggressive Employee I had an absolutely unacceptable experience at this Republic Services transfer station. The employee working the booth was rude and dismissive from the moment I arrived. He was sitting far back inside the booth, barely speaking clearly, and I literally had to lean out of my car toward his window just to understand what he was saying. Not sure where else to provide this feedback. This place has normally been very good to work with but today was a problem. Their scale was way out of whack. I dropped one bedroom worth of carpet and underlay off. It fit in the bed of my shortbed pickup and didn't even extend past the top of the bed. This was maybe 800 pounds on the high end. They charged me for 3000 pounds. It was not sopping wet...it wasn't wet at all. It was 6 rolls of carpet and 6 rolls of underlayment that I could life one handed - I can't heft 250 pound... read more
