Terrible website with an unhelpful chatbot…then unhelpful customer service reps that are clueless. Good lord, do better.
I put out a desk for the bulk pickup in North Ridgeville (Sourbrook Lane) today, and this is what Republic did! They apparently attempted to lift it with their bin grasping mechanism which crushed it, rather than having the bulk truck do it manually. The driver then drove off without cleaning up the mess he made. Now I am stuck with cutting this debris up in order to make it fit into the waste bin for next week since Republic never picks up “loose” boards. Miss pickups every week!
I’m not knocking the services the company provides or the performance of its employees. In fact I feel that the employees who actually do the work serving our area are top notch. The complaint I have is with trying to contact customer service to confirm the new scheduling. I tried to just use the app to confirm the change and it showed the old schedule. When I finally got someone in customer support to respond, I was told that the old schedule was what that person could confirm. I don’t understand why a company this size can... read more
