Pricey, ($156 per 3 months, compared to Grace hauling at $75 per 3 months) & the office staff does not have a single clue what the routes and schedules are for the trucks (if you live in a rural area where the schedule is every other week). Then to get the amount of carts required for their biweekly schedule was hell, extremely time consuming! Difficult to get ahold of anyone. Their callback option doesn't work. Republic is a joke! Had service since 2009. My bill was $170 when they switched to quarterly( 4 cans weekly pickup) they have now raised the bill to $220 dollars & want to charge me $123 to come take their cans back! That's ridiculous!
Do not get Republic for your trash service. We had them for only one month and we paid them for one month. Every week they would call us and tell us to move the trash can closer to the highway so the truck could pick it up. We always put the can where they left it. They would not come down our road so we had to drive 1/2 mile to put trash in it. But our new trash service comes to our house to pick up the trash. Now they are trying to to get us to pay for a two months of service after we had cancelled after 3 weeks of service... read more
