Absolutely horrible experience. I hardly ever go to the dump because I have garbage service but I needed to throw away a couple bigger items. The man working there yelled at me twice while instructing me to back up. There was no indication of where anything should go, so they had me running all over the place, trying to figure out where to put the scrap metal.
Hours on website do not Indicate lunch. Here before noon gate is locked No Is telling how long I have to wait.
Easily the worst transfer station I've been too. Unfortunately I've had to deal with them for over a decade. Both the Klickitat county website and signs posted all over the Transfer Station say they accept used oil on certain days. When I arrive the worker says their tank has been full since he can remember and they don't accept oil anymore or know when the tank will be emptied. He then told me I should just burn my oil, because that's what he does. This county is run by a bunch of clowns who have no idea what they're doing.
They finally have new and nice employees that are friendly, keep the place clean, and make the trip here rewarding. Plus, they always give my dog a treat. Thank you!
The employees are always pricks and the Google hours don’t mention lunch, which they seem to take whenever they feel like it. Been waiting and hour - fifteen minutes past when the sign said they’d be back. 45 minutes to get here. Complete waste of my time.
