Worst service I had ever had. They come when they want to come. I’ve had to call the national number several times and complain already. This year, we haven’t had trash pickup once in 2026. I assume holidays got them behind, then two weeks of snow (which I understand), and now I have 6 weeks of trash that I took out this morning only to have to bring it back in this evening. Unfortunately, they have a monopoly in this area.

REPUBLIC SERVICES = NO SERVICES. NO TRASH PICKUP FOR 2 WEEKS IN AN ELDERLY SUBDIVISION ISLAND ESTATES. AMAZING THAT US ELDERLY CAN DRIVE IN & OUT OF OUR SUBDIVISION EVEN TO CHARLESTON BUT A TRASH COMPANY CANNOT GET HERE FROM RIVER ROAD. GIVE US A BREAK!!! I had to call today and cancel service due to my trash piling up and the trash truck hasn't ran in 2 weeks. The roads to my neighborhood are clean and clear and other trash services have picked up around me. So no excuse to why my trash hasn't been picked up. I assume no trash pick up again today and was told my can will be picked up the 13th of February. So if they can come grab my can why can't they get someone to take the trash? Makes no sense.
