Terrible customer service and they look to squeeze you for every dime. We entered into a 3-year contract for weekly recycling pick-ups for a small building and the initial monthly cost was $74. The contract required a buy-out for early termination and by the time the 3-year term expired the monthly cost was $221. Republic also will find every excuse to charge a penalty/fine for the pick-up. There were months we were charged 2x the cost of the pick-up as a fine. Would avoid using Republic at all costs.
Their service gets worse and worse every year miss pick up a constant normal thing for them with no excuses and customer service is useless and and your sales person that takes care of your account is never around when you need them.
It really doesn't get much worse. If you want to spend every other week on hold for a half hour simply to get them to pick up the trash when they say they are gonna, then this is the company for you. If I wasn't stuck in a contract with them, I'd be gone in a second.
My rates doubled within 24 months and customer service is horrible they give you an attitude and make you jump through hoops to do something as simple as canceling the service
