I am beyond frustrated with Republic Services. Our community constantly deals with inconsistent pickup times, missed pickups, and sometimes not even having all of our trash collected. At this point, my community and I are simply over it. Most recently, I missed our regular pickup and paid $28.75 to schedule an additional pickup. I had already spent 47 minutes on the phone with customer service just trying to figure out how to schedule and pay for it. After all of that, guess what? What a disappointing decline in service. BestWay was fantastic. GFL was acceptable. Republic Services has been unacceptable. I remained a customer through missed pickups, recycling regularly being left behind, promised credits that were never applied, and repeated price increases that never seemed to come with better service. I am an extremely loyal customer, but eventually there has to be a point where enough is enough. Even after deciding to leave, I wasn’t planning to post a negative review. While the trash pick up was reliable, the recycling was late every time, or they delayed until the next day. Additionally, they continually raised the rates so much that the price was almost 3 times what a competitor offered. Only when I called to cancel did they then offer to lower the price. Too little too late! Oh and then they charge $140 to pick up the old cans! Not recommended.

They are not consistent in pickup of trash or recycling. Today, I called to get our recycle picked up from yesterday….surprise…no show. Oh we will be there. The worst trash company to keep their word.
