I’m currently on hold with this company, and have been for 30 minutes because they consistently miss pickups, and I am requesting a refund for the weeks they miss. This is one of the worst companies to do business with.
They are late on pick up repeatedly
Terrible customer service! Due to weather on Friday, they missed picking up our trash and recycling. I can understand that, but when we called on Monday, we were told they would be doing a double pickup on Friday. They refused to give us a refund for the previous weeks missed service. Today they only picked up our trash and not the recycling! We are cancelling and changing to another service. I hope everyone in our neighborhood does the same. Be warned, they are awful and do not care about their customers.
Republic Services has been so frustrating to deal with. There was a weather delay, so they promised to pick up our trash on Saturday instead of our usual Friday. We put the trash out for the weekend, but no one came all weekend and they of course have no phone service on the weekend. On Monday morning, I called at 8:30am and was told it would be picked up that day, so we left our trash out again and went about our day. There service is garbage. This is the 2nd time that we experienced a total lapse in service. The 1st time there was no reason, and the second time it snowed a little bit. I could understand a delay in pickup because of weather, but after a couple of days when i put in a pickup request for the garbage, they denied my request and said they wouldnt be able to pick it up until the next scheduled pick up day.
