What in the Colin Karpernick is going on with our Trash ? If these Men wanted an entire week off they should have used their PTO. Our neighborhood trash hasn’t been emptied since the 4th of July. There are plenty more people that would love a job like that with all its benefits. So you still expect a payment for a job NOT done? They should all be Suspended if not fired. Worst company ever. I dont just blame the company though. Like most employees represented by a union, these employees want to be paid like they have a doctorate degree from a university for pushing a button on a truck to lift trash containers. Shame on Republic for not bargaining in good faith, and shame on their employees for being so money hungry. You want to be paid like upper middle income, but your job does not reflect that pay. Waited less time than the person who left the last comment! 54 minutes on hold! Waiting for bulk service pick up after neighbors added to the pile I'd previously called in. I've dealt with the same lady who answered the phone. She was helpful and kind. Also used public dump with cars waiting behind. A simple "park car on scale and come to the window with credit card" sign would have been a nice touch for newbies feeling peer pressure.
