I recently canceled my service with republic for the SECOND time because they are just too expensive! I had established & paid for trash service through Calvin which is close to my home in Ashland. After a misunderstanding in their office they can not service Ashland. I called at least 5 different companies in the area although none could service my area all of them charge right around $50 a month, Calvin was gonna be $43 a month for 2 cans. You better expect to be picking up trash out of your own yard. Overpriced and they hardly ever come weekly which is what I pay for. They are CONSTANTLY missing pickups, and they don’t pickup early just because of weather and if you get missed you’ll have to wait until the next week, even on their mistake, and when your trash starts overflowing and the dogs get into it you’ll be picking your yard up once again. HIGHLY recommend absolutely any other option you can find!

I pay 111.00 a month for two monthly trash pick ups only to receive text notifications my trash has been picked up and then come home to a completely full dumpster. The company will not let you out of your contract yet doesn’t pick the trash up as stated.

Terrible service. I’ve called every day this week and Friday last week to get a missed trash can. (Was at the road the night before pick up and still hasn’t moved) still hasn’t been dumped. Been told everyday it’ll be taken care of. Everything those buffoons in the office have told me was a lie from office hours to scheduled pickups. If they decide to not grab your trash don’t waste your time calling these clowns

It’s frustrating this is all we have in our area. Their customer service woman from the Mcalester area is extremely rude and hateful. It’s sad when you just need help and you get calls back from someone upset they have to do their job and answer them for you. They desperately need to hire some new employees.
