Be aware republic will charge you to deliver each container then along with every quarterly bill you are charged for the fuel they use for the company truck to pick up your garbage . If you cancel they will charge you a full billing cycle amount to pick up the containers you paid to be delivered in the first place! Outrageous… The actual bill to retrieve those 2 containers was $158.09 . Pathetic excuse for a company. Has almost doubled in price the past few year. Canceled months ago and they still charge me for another cycle. 10 plus wait to talk to a human, then they are completely incompetent… USE MODERN WASTE!!
I wish to express my displeasure with what I think is a Monopoly in the area where I live. Republic Services is a money hungry company, that charges outrageous rates compared to other companies. When we retired and moved to a smaller house, we contacted Republic Services and our bill was $91 for 3 months of service ($58.98 for once a week pickup and $26.12 fuel surcharge). Started out great, then moved brought the service with us and now they never show up to pick it up. Every week i’m calling and reporting a missed pick up.
