Was a business customer of 18 years we closed our business up and simply wanted to pay our bill and have the dumpster picked up. After 25 phone calls I wasn’t able to achieve that simple task. Meanwhile, the new owner of the property has a dumpster that he does not want on the property and there is absolutely zero way of contacting anybody. Worst customer service must be their motto! Mt. Pleasant pa.

Approximately two weeks ago, Republic Services collected only about half of our trash, leaving the remaining bags at the curb without explanation. The following week, they failed to collect our trash at all (along with about half the neighborhood as you could see every couple cans there was one that was still full). Unfortunately they claim to have the capability to do “large junk removal”, but they’ll only pick up 1-2 items at a time. So, they do not have trucks or workers that are capable of doing an actual junk removal. I only needed two box springs and frames removed, and they could only do it over multiple trips. Hopefully, they have better financial years moving forward and can afford bigger trucks and more workers. I was even happy to pay, but I guess they’re not trying to make money on large haul pickups. Our business rented a dumpster. We were charged upfront for it. After they picked it up we received another invoice for additional fees. When I ordered the dumpster I was not told that I would pay fuel charges for each time they came to my property. $159 the first time and $149 the second time. Do not waste your time with this company. I truly believe up front pricing is needed. I understand that they don't know the fuel charges until they come, however being upfront about those charges would be nice to know. I imagine a lot... read more
