Reported missed pickups twice over the last 5 days. Still sitting there. Actually, it was scattered all over my ditch, which is why I’m writing this. They have missed the last 6 recycling pickups. Time for a management re-structure. Or just sell to a company who knows how to run this type of business properly.
This company used to be great. In recent years the price has tripled and the service has declined. Be ready for them to bill you extra when you finally had enough and cancel your service. I will be telling everyone I know about my awful experience with this company. Good riddance.
**Update** I hit the button so I would get a call back when the next rep was available, I was expecting a half hour tops. It was over an hour and a half so I was on another call that I couldn't hang up. Bummer, had to call and get on the wait-list again. The second time it was 15 minutes before I caved and hit the button for a callback. 45 minutes before I got a call back. Super unethical company. DO NOT use them. An unsecured dumpster (no wheel locks in place) at a rental of ours blew into a public parking lot on a windy day and smashed into a car. Republic Services is calling it an “act of God” and won’t take care of any of the damage. They are avoiding any/all responsibility. The ”act of God” could have and should have been easily mitigated with wheel locks. Outrageously shady to duck this blatant negligence - - avoid them at all costs.
This company has questionable billing practices. I called in January to cancel my service for a cheaper one I was speaking with my neighbor about. They offered to meet the price of the cheaper company, since we had had an account with them for 7 years. I was advised that it could take 30 days to go into effect so I called to confirm the change was on my account when the next bill was higher than the new negotiated rate.
