I am a small business owner and have been a customer of Republic for almost 10 years. I want to terminate my service because we are closing one of our locations. I have been kept on hold for 2 hours - never received the call back phone call that they said I would receive - Started the process all over again today and by calling at 7:30 am finally reach a person BUT that being said I have now spoken with 3 different people. By far the worst trash service we have gotten. 1 whole year with a broken trash bin and they still havent been able to give us a new one. Last week my trash was not picked up due to that. Need to do better service.

They will corner you to sign a contract which your sales person will promise that you can cancel early then price gouge your final invoice. Now called BFI Waste Services, LLC. They are not honest or upfront. We now use Backshore Property Services and are completely happy!

We have been a South Bethany customer of Republic Services since 2007 and could not be happier. Specifically our Republic trash and recycling collecter AJ Johnson is the absolute best at his job. I and many other South Bethany homeowners would give him 10 stars if the ratings went that high. AJ is the hardest working, kindest, caring and most helpful service provider in South Bethany. Spent more than an hour on hold to cancel their service. They will charge you extra $70 for the removal of the bins. The actual pick up service is not bad, but it’s very costly and nearly impossible to contact them unless you have plenty of time.
