We have been a South Bethany customer of Republic Services since 2007 and could not be happier. Specifically our Republic trash and recycling collecter AJ Johnson is the absolute best at his job. I and many other South Bethany homeowners would give him 10 stars if the ratings went that high. AJ is the hardest working, kindest, caring and most helpful service provider in South Bethany. Spent more than an hour on hold to cancel their service. They will charge you extra $70 for the removal of the bins. The actual pick up service is not bad, but it’s very costly and nearly impossible to contact them unless you have plenty of time.

This is the worse trash service ever, I have only had this service for a month they charged me almost 200 bucks and on top of that they only picked up my trash twice !! I had to pay my neighbor to take some of my trash bags to the dump because the trash kept piling up and every time I called customer service they told me someone is on the way to pick up the trash but no one ever arrives. They literally just take your money and don't pick up your trash. When you call them out on it, the customer service blames you for not alerting them sooner that they didn't pick up your trash. And to top it off, the last month they've just sent out text alerts saying the route can't be ran on the pickup day and that it will come next week and on the pickup day of that next week, they send out the text again. It's just a scam.

Terrible attitude from the trash man. He broke our recyclable trash can and left trash all over the road. He crushed our small container that we had yard waste in. Second time thrash was left on road.
